Program Overview

The 2024 UDUF Africa Business Leadership Bootcamp was a two-day intensive program aimed at equipping entrepreneurs with practical skills to survive and grow within Nigeria's volatile economic environment. Structured around enterprise resilience and adaptive management, the bootcamp focused on the operational survival of SMEs.

Hosted at Dolly Hills Hotel, Onitsha, the program attracted over forty participants from diverse sectors. The training shifted from generic motivation to operational survival strategy—addressing currency instability, cost pressures, and structural business risks affecting Nigerian enterprises.

Economic Reality & SME Survival

A major segment of the bootcamp focused on diagnosing economic pressures. Key challenge factors identified included exchange rate volatility, currency devaluation, and high governance costs. Participants mapped the effects, such as rising logistics costs and cash flow shortages, developing response strategies to strengthen survival rates.

Leadership & Performance Panels

Panel sessions addressed leadership behavior required for sustained success. Core focus areas included self-leadership discipline, effective time management, strategic goal setting, and founder mental resilience. Facilitators like Prof. Olusegun Oludapo Sogbesan and Lady Chinwe Nebolisa guided these applied leadership challenges.

Enterprise Growth & Wealth Creation

Advanced modules covered growth structuring models, sustainability frameworks, and wealth creation principles. These sessions positioned financial intelligence and capital allocation discipline as central to enterprise longevity in a challenging market.
